Small liberal arts colleges (mainly the ‘Oberlin 50’) sorted by PhD production in the hard sciences with some extra info on the colleges. The detail on degrees in which the PhD was awarded is here:

Size = 2013 or 2014 enrollment size
PhD.Prod = PhD in the hard sciences 2004-2014 who had their baccalaureate from the school. Data from here https://ncsesdata.nsf.gov/webcaspar
PhD/1000 = PhD.Prod divided by size
%Need = % Need met. Data from collegedata.com
%Merit = % of student who got merit aid in 2013 or 2012. Data from these 2 lists. First from WA Post and if not there, I looked at the NYTimes article. If not on either of those, I looked at collegedata.com
