Reflections: I really really really like Georgetown and I wish I would have gotten in EA. It really hurts especially because one of my friends (who loves to humble brag) got in with much lower scores, an equal GPA, and really bad essays that he wrote the night before they were due. He knows I really want to go there and I’m kinda salty they chose him over me. This guy is literally URRHHHHHGHGHHGHGHHGHGHGHHGHGHGHHG. I have a karate competition this weekend and I’m pretty sure I’m gonna crush everyone because of how mad I am that this kid got in EA. Seriously, it doesn’t hurt that much that I didn’t get in (although I’m pretty disappointed), but that THIS KID OMG FIOSIOFHSIOHFDSH GOT IN MAKES ME SO MADDDD.
Strengths: Good ACT, decent GPA, well rounded, multiracial
Weaknesses: eh ECs, essays I didn’t want to submit but my college counselor made me, didn’t submit SAT IIs (THIS IS IMPORTANT PLS SUBMIT WHAT EVER YOU HAVE EVEN IF IT SEEMS BAD)
Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: my weaknesses
Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Accepted - LMU and UChicago (which I’m kinda happy about but not sure I want to go because Georgetown is my first choice and I really wanna go PLS IF UR READING THIS LET ME IN AD COM PLS I WILL CHANGE THE WORLD WITH MY LANGUAGE SKILLS AND DIPLOMACY) - only three places I applied early
No other deferrals, and no rejections

Places I applied regular (in order of where I last submitted): Tufts, Stanford, Columbia, Boston College, Claremont McKenna, USC (fight on, cas I’m probably gonna end up here if Gtown doesn’t pitty me and let me in), Brown, and UCs

General Comments: I’m genuinely happy for everyone that got in, like seriously it makes me happy to know that some of my fellow 2021ers were successful this time around (except that fam friend, he sucks and is rubbing it in my face as we speak - snapchats of his acceptance letter - “hey dude look!” “Did u get in? I hope you did cas we can be hoya buddies” got it’s so nerving). I wish all of you luck in chosing the right place, and as for everyone else that got stuck in this deferral boat, good luck to you all and hopefully we can join the hoya fam!!!
