I did lots of activities, but my main was tennis (4 yrs varsity, state qualifier, captain). I also coached tennis.

Case is known for deferring top students from EA to regular decision. They know students like your daughter often use Case as a safety so they defer to protect their yield, which is already quite low.

Your daughter will have a lot of great options!

We heard before applying that Case is known for yield protection and D. tried really hard to show interest with very busy schedule she has.

She likes the school and really wants to go there to study so she was sad when received the notification. She will try to reapply, submit her 1st senior semester grades, but other than that she can’t do much with Covid and her existing ECs.

Thanks a ton for your post and others who gave advices to Case’s deferred kids.

If you are not in the EST, it was hard to participate in the virtual sessions that Case offered, they were often in the midst of class, I hear you on that one…I am blown away by the collective talent of the class of 2021…
