No good awards on my Common App

@CollegeBurger the vast majority of college applicants do not have national or international awards on their applications.

Here are the colleges you put on that thread:

Cornell (ED), Columbia, Duke, Northwestern, UPenn, Carnegie Mellon, Umich, a NY state school, University of Pittsburgh, Washu, Vanderbilt, UCLA, UC Berkeley,

Are you still interested in only these colleges? You say you will be applying for aid but your family is well off. Can they pay $65,000 a year for you to attend Berkeley or UCLA? If not, take them off this list. The UCs don’t give any need based aid to OOS students and very little in merit aid.

You have a strong SAT score and a strong GPA, and your EC list is fine. This list, however, is top heavy except for the NY publics. I think you will get accepted at Pitt, but will it be affordable?
