GPA: 4.72
Major: Computer Science
OOS, EA2
Best of luck to everyone applying for the class of 2025!
Hamilton : Dec 15
I didnāt see a Hamilton ED 2025 forum so here! Who is applying ED 1?
Harvard : Dec 17
This is a safe space for anyone applying to Harvard next year to talk to other prospective applicants. Especially with the crisis that we are in now, numerous incoming seniors may not be able to receive the testing/information that they need for colleges. Not only this, but especially for those applying REA to Harvard, many summer programs have moved online or have been canceled. Whatever happens, we are all in this together. Letās start planning for the application and good luck to everyone.
Harvey Mudd : Dec 11
My DS has applied ED to HMC. Less than 2 weeks to decision time. So, thought Iāll start a thread (since I didnāt see one already)

Howard U : Dec 11
Hello, saw that the forum is pretty empty so decided to create some discussions.
I am an International student and I applied EA to Howard. Itās one of my top choice cause my seniors who went to Howard are doing some great things rn (lol I sound like Trump).
And how are you all doing? If I get accepted this early December, sure am coming to Howard!
I have decent test scores and grades/GPA: nearly 1400 SAT, 3.8 ish GPA (Idk, school doesnāt do GPA). Two of my recent seniors got accepted into Howard with basically similar stats. They got the capstone scholarship and one had his tuition fee waived. If I do get accepted this year, what are the chances that I get a similar scholarship, given the coronavirus?
And lets make this thread more lively!
Johns Hopkins : Dec 11
Hi everyone,
I didnāt see a thread so created this one for ED applicants!

Whatās up! I just wanted to start this thread for everyone who is applying to Notre Dame REA or RD for the class of 2025 to talk, get to know more about the process, and to ask any questions they may have to anyone who responds. Also if anyone wants to put their stats: quantitative, qualitative or both, thatād be great too! I personally submitted my application about 2.5 weeks ago for restrictive early action. Its my top school and I would LOVE to be admitted.
Northeastern : by Dec 15
Hi All,
This thread is for any discussion/decisions for RD admissions this year!
The official decision date is by April 1st, but historically decisions are released earlier, likely within the range of 3/10 to 3/26 of this year. It will also likely be a Wednesday, though it has been Tuesday/Thursday in the past. Best guesses would be 3/18 or 3/25. Decisions will roll out over a single day geographically radiating out from Boston starting around 4PM EST. A small group of acceptances tend to be released mid-February, but this is a tiny fraction of the applicant pool.
Some notes for those hearing back:
Release Times
Waves are released hourly on the hour, loosely by geography. Decisions are available on the portal on the hour with emails often coming 30 minutes or more after decisions are available, so if youāre anxious to hear back Iād recommend checking hourly around when your location is expected to hear back. Here are some estimated time ranges:
New England: 4-6PM EST
NY/NJ: 5-6Pā¦
Northwestern : Dec 17
Letās make some ED decision day predictions and post results when the day comes!
NYU : Dec 15
Hi guys I j submitted my ED 1 application for NYU Gallatin and realized there werenāt any threads on cc yet. I was hoping that we could share stats, questions, decisions, etcā¦ on here
Ohio State : Dec 11
I just wanted to start this thread for everyone who is applying to Ohio State EA or RD class of 2025 to talk, get to know more about the process, and to ask any questions they may have to anyone who responds. Also if anyone wants to put their stats, quantitative, qualitative or both, thatād be fine too! I personally submitted my application about 2 weeks ago for early action, and was wondering if anyone has heard back from Ohio State yet?
Penn State : Dec 24

Skidmore : Dec 9
Hello everyone,
I am excited to announce I have verbally committed to the ED1 process at Skidmore as an athlete for the class of 2025. I know itās early but I thought Iād start a thread for anyone else planning to apply ED1 this year.

Let me know if anyone has any questions.

Swarthmore : Dec 15
Hey! I thought I would make a conversation for fellow EDI applicants. Any idea when decisions will be released?
Tufts : Dec 15
Does anyone know when ED1 is coming out for Tufts? I know a lot of other schools have sent emails with official dates but I havenāt heard anything.
Good luck everyone!!!

Let the posts begin for the High School Class of 2021 applying for Fall 2021 at UT!
Vassar : Dec 8
Surprised to not see a Vassar 2025 ED1 thread yet.
Last year results came out Mon Dec 9th so maybe Dec 7th or 14th this year?
Vanderbilt : Dec 15
Hi guys! I was thinking that, with the deadline approaching so quickly, we should start a thread for Vandy ED I applicants. University of Vermont is December 17
Haverford: Dec 15th ED1; Feb 15th ED 2
@evergreen5
I would be cautious in using the last yearās, pre-COVID release date as a benchmark.
On top of obvious logistical challenges this year, some colleges moved the ED application deadline, typically from Nov 1 to Nov 15.
One example - Pomona: just like last year, it is officially Dec 15; but while they emailed their decisions on Dec 6, 2019, I donāt think it is realistic to expect them to wrap it up in 3 weeks this year.

Anyone know about Quinnipiac?
Michiganās website says late January
UT is rolling - for OOS they usually have batches in December (on Fridays) and then not again until late January, but this year they began accepting in state students much earlier than usual so who knows what they will do. Hookāem!

I have a student who applied ED to a school and their CC page is virtually dead. Has anyone found this with a school their student applied to as well? This was not the case 2 years ago for the same school so Iām wondering if itās a sign applications are down, or international applications are down as expected due to covid, unknown visa issues, and less financial aid available or what?
Thanks

Someone on the Amherst ED thread said they were told on an Amherst webinar that international apps to Amherst were 2.3x what they were last year.
One data point I am relaying 3rd hand, but if accurate then that big of an increase would lead me to believe that ED apps are not down, at least at top tier schools.

Interesting. My ex-niece is a freshman there and they were very restrictive about who could come this semester, I believe only freshman on campus and they couldnāt take a full courseload. But also, maybe the international apps are up because they are need blind for all applicants? I know where my son applied they are not need blind for internationals and no idea if that plays a factor. I just find it so strange that there is literally no activity on the ED forum.
But 2.3x is crazy regardless!
I forgot Amherst is need blind for internationals. It doesnāt make the 2.3x meaningless for figuring out the big picture, but that is a wrinkle I hadnāt considered that may make it non-representative, even for elite schools.
