So, for Benacquisto changes, what exactly does it mean if a “General Appropriations Committee” is allocating money. Does that mean that they could randomly choose to only give 100 dollars in scholarship money or something? Or is it slight changes? It’s frustrating that the bill is so vague, and ridiculous to vote yes to a bill that’s missing important information. (specific changes, majors, etc.) To be completely honest, with the oos tuition waiver FSU and UF are still cheaper than my instate schools. But, it’s concerning the lack of transparency.
