Oy! I think that letter is not actually far from the truth, it’s a sad state of affairs at this point. I wonder how this process will evolve over the next decade when I need to do it all again with my son. I shudder to think about doing it again, tbh.

sadly, its too close to the truth. I am dreading already to go thru this painful process with our younger son :frowning:

It’s a hard truth with many colleges. My D so far has seen deferrals, she’s mentally prepping herself to see an outright rejection in many March decisions.

The good news is that, unlike some law firms’ responses to young attorney job applicants, the admissions office did not bill the applicant for time spent reviewing the application for admission.
