Since my previous update, we’ve made a few changes:
- Everyone who was either a Senior Member or a Member on the old platform should now have their rank on the new platform set correctly. (But please let me know if I missed anyone.)
- Users who haven’t updated their avatar on the new platform and had one on the previous platform will have their avatar restored. (This is in progress, but should be completed today.)
- Many broken links have been fixed.
- Many posts with broken formatting have been fixed.
- We are removing unnecessary JavaScript code, which should reduce the battery drain that is most noticeable on mobile devices. (This isn’t live on the site just yet, but we are testing now.)
- Bookmarks and private messages are getting imported. I don’t have an estimate when this will be done. Especially with private messages, it’s important we do this work correctly.
