Any reason this one school is pinned for the entire community? Does CC have some special advertising agreement with the school?

I pinned this globally cause is part of a new series we’re now promoting. Will be doing so for all other schools, so no special treatment for Yale.

Is there more information on this student who had a 1350 SAT and got admission to Yale??? What on earth were the activities and GPA??

If I remember the post, it appeared they were ■■■■■■■■. That was the entirety of the post.

ETA: Did not expect tro…ing to be a flagged word. In any case, it seemed to be a joke.

Thanks for flagging, @TonyGrace! I’ll remove that profile from the list.

Can you share the list of schools CC considers to be worthy of this special treatment?

It’s disappointing that CC will show preferential treatment to various schools. My kids’ school recent EA release was not pinned, so I guess their T10/T20 programs aren’t worthy.

There is no special treatment, @RichInPitt. As previously explained, this is a new series we are highlighting. There is a public vote and the community decides which school I cover next. Not all schools have accepted applicants that have shared their stats so the options are relatively limited. Feel free to suggest schools (for which there are accepted EA/ED applicants stats) that would like to see highlighted and I’ll poll them, too.
