Other Decisions: Bad luck at the rest of the UCs – rejected from UCLA, waitlisted at UCI, Davis, UCSD, Regents and Honors at UC Santa Cruz, accepted at Merced/Riverside.
Waitlisted at Northeastern and Cal Poly SLO for Computer Engineering,
Accepted to UIUC Grainger Computer Engineering and Purdue First Year Engineering as well.
Accepted to CU Boulder with Presidential Scholarship, UW Madison, University of British Columbia, San Jose State.
I’m unspeakably happy right now – this was my last chance to stay in state, and it looks like UCSB pulled through for me 
I had terrible luck on March 18th, but it looks like the UCs are truly independent of each other.
I first visited UCSB back in 10th grade – UCSB was the very first campus I ever visited and it’s been my dream UC ever since
Barring anything exceptional at the other UCs, I’m probably committing here.
