umiami is down to accepting only 19% of applicants.
with your stats, it’s a fair 50/50 odds. you’re what they’re looking for, but college admissions is unpredictable after all.
since you applied ed, i’d guess a 60/40 chance at acceptance. remember they look for massive demonstrated interest, so if a deferral comes your way, accept your spot in ed2 or rd asap

Hi there! Do you have any thoughts on how to show interest when we live quite far away? We did visit back in February so D23 has that record.

Ya I don’t think I’ll get any scholarships and I don’t even know about getting but I appreciate the optimism
Has anyone heard whether ED1 notifications may come out this Friday, December 9th? An admissions rep who did a session at our high school a few months back had said to expect late December notifications because of the volume of applications but I see that in the past few years it’s been the second Friday in December.
