(0-6) PharmD Program

Hi!

I'm an international high school student, planning to apply for a 0-6 PharmD Program.
I have a few questions related to the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (0-6) PharmD program

1) Which scores would they require? And how much (like, SAT, ACT etc)
2) Does USP make you give the PCAT or require you to reapply after the initial 2 years?
3) Is it a good course overall? Which other 0-6 programs are good?

Please let me know ASAP! Thanks

I am going to be a freshman at University of the Sciences in the fall so I don’t have much experience but I can answer some of your questions…

I got a 2080 on my SAT and they accepted me into the 0-6 program with a $16,000 scholarship. After talking to other people they accepted, I would shoot for around 1800 AT LEAST to get into the program.

You do not have to take the PCAT or require you to reapply. You just have to have a 3.0 GPA and go through an interview… if you do well and have at least a 3.0 GPA by the end of your second year, you are automatically in the last four profession years.

The school is highly regarded in the pharmacy field. Having a PharmD from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy (USciences) looks great! The school also has some amazing professional organizations in which you can join and can put on your resume. Rutgers has a great program as well, but the school is much larger and you do not receive the same individual attention you would get at USciences. Both have great programs, it just depends what type of school you would prefer.

Other PharmD programs in the area:

Northeastern
URI
St. John’s
MCPHS

Good Luck :)
