Victoria, they do not serve breakfast on Saturday or dinner on Saturday or Sunday. Normally your freshman floor will pick a place to go for dinner as a group. Of course, you can always order pizza or go to the Subway or Noble Roman's on campus if you want.

As far as students going on to grad school, most Rose grads do enter the workforce rather than going on to earn another degree immediately. However, many students do get a job and earn a degree while they work, and I don't think they are included in the 20%.

20% is about average from what I know. Over half go back to school at some point to get an advanced degree.

Most people are ready to get out of classes after 4 years and the cost of education here is such that people are happy to start making money and paying back those student loans.

In! :D Would be great to go but not sure if I can afford it so I'll probably contact finaid office soon to see how much EFC is. Do any of the RHIT students here know what the average student debt is after 4 years? Great to see an acceptance letter before Christmas though!

Academic stats if anyone is interested:
GPA 4.0 w / 3.44 uw :p
SAT: 2220 w/ 720 Bio, 700 US, 660 Chem :p
AP's: Bio, Euro (5) US, Eng Lang (4), Chem (3) :p

Congrats!!! your stats are awesome, SAT is way better than mine... i'm feel ashamed not to have a 2200+ as a Chinese...i just couldn't find a test center that is not far and still have spot avaliable, so i have to send in my crappy scores when i took it in US which i totally didn't study for...

Anyways, i just hope that i can get some money from Rose....please please please please!!

chi62, Rose does offer financial aid, both need based and merit based. To be eligible for need-based aid, you will need to fill out a FAFSA form. For merit-based, they will look at all the stuff in your application (test scores, grades, etc.). Then in the spring (I think it's usually in early April) they will mail you a letter that explains the financial aid offer. If you have any questions about the process or about your offer once you get it, you can give the financial aid office a call.

Hi Nick . Thanks. I received a letter from RHIT giving the deadlines for FAFSA and Scholarship. What do I have to do in order to get Financial aid/Scholarship?

chi62, just fill out the FAFSA. That and your application for admission included all the information that the Financial Aid people will use to determine your package.

Expect to hear from them at the end of March/beginning of April.

So I just got my acceptance.
at this point it's just a safety, and even if i don't get in to my other schools, i don't think i would be able to afford it without some merit-based aid on top of the need based!

My boy got accepted too..great!! but the intuition is quite a burden to me... he also has a younger brother interesting at math-science as well. I really can't afford it if 2 of them go for RHIT within years... We haven't got any notice for financial aide yet. Does RHIT have this program to international student too?

hey, boysdad
i'm an international students from Beijing China, and i got accepted too. I got my scholarship info today. Unfortunately Rose doesn't give international students need-based FA and the max merit scholarship is 7500.
I went to its summer camp called Operation Catapult so i got a scholarship for that too, the total of the scholarships i got from Rose is about 10k, which is not nearly enough but i guess that's the most we can get being internationals.
Hope this is helpful for you :)
