<p>When you send your $500 in, is that the deposit that prompts them to send you housing info and THEN you send the 1,000 and all that stuff or will they not send you the request form until they get the 1,000. If you do have to send the 1,000 first, is there some kind of form that goes with it or something, because I never got anything...??? Thanks. I know this has probably been talked about a lot but I checked around the board and this hasn't been answere specifically so please don't just say LOOK AT OTHER POSTS if you know the answer. Thanks! <p>The first deposit is $500. It's $200 for tuition and $300 for housing (or vice versa, can't remember). When that is received, that's when you can do your housing application. THEN you can send in your $1000 housing deposit (that may include the first amount of money, I'm not sure).</p>
<p>They said it can take up to a month to process your first $500, so don't panic if you haven't gotten anything yet, or can't access housing on NYU Home =)</p>
