So I literally don’t know what to do with my career I currently have a overall 2.5 gpa and a 1.8 gpa in my bio major and I’m a junior and I’m currently taking this spring semester off for mental health. So yea this is like a mess. I think getting a 3.0 gpa is achievable if I just get an A in every class. I want to be a pathologist assistant or a physician’s assistant (whichever grad school will accept me). The issue is that I have two C- 's and core science classes and all grad school’s i’ve looked at accept at least a minimum C. Sooooo basically idk to do because I’m sure I can’t take those courses over again, and idk what other career I can obtain if I get that 3.0 gpa. So help.
The most important thing for you now is to get better and then do as well as you can when you return. With a 1.8 GPA in your major, it will be difficult to get into a graduate program. You will be better off focusing on what you can do for a career after you complete your BS. After some work experience, you may be able to have an opprotunity to enter a Masters program.
Change your major, improve your GPA and delay your graduation date?
Work hard to improve your GPA in your current major?
Complete your BS Degree and then go get a Vo-Tech certificate or AA degree in something useful?
Return to college after graduation for a more marketable bachelor’s degree than biology?
A few bad grades at a young age shouldn’t ruin your life, but then maybe that’s the world we are living in now?
