<p>i.e. poli sci 10 would fulfill a lower div poli sci course, lower div communication studies course, and a GE course..</p>

<p>I am pretty sure that pre-reqs and GE's can overlap, however, not the same GE in multiple foundation categories. For example, Phil 1 is under 2 foundation categories, but will only count for one.</p>

<p>but if you took something like polisci 40, then yeah, it'll fulfill a social science GE, a lower div poli sci, and a lower div comm studies. </p>
<p>upper-divs are trickier, you'll have to check with your department counselors to see how many upper-div overlaps are allowed for your major.</p>
