1 or 2 people taking ap test

What is it like? we are being put in our guidance office to take a test... does the proctor essentially stare us down? The room can't be that big... might be a little awkward if he watches me take my test. Also, who pays for college board proctors? the school? or is that part of our fee? just wondering.

I self-studied AP Psych last year, so it was just me. It was okay–she let me eat my lunch before I started (because I had just finished AP Chem) and she started reading the directions but then she was like “…you know all this stuff. This is your third exam this year. Do you want to just go ahead and start?” and I was like “…sure.”

I’m doing it again this year with AP Computer Science–that’ll be fun, haha.

I have no idea who pays them–I guess I assumed it was just the school, but I don’t know for sure.

The school pays for the proctors. They don’t stare you down; they just glance up from time to time to make sure you’re doing what you’re supposed to and not cheating in some way.

I took 2 AP exams last year where I was the only one testing. It wasn’t bad. The proctor mainly kept to herself.

I don’t think my counselor knows that he needs to get a proctor. What should I do if she leaves me in a room all alone? lol

This will be me during the Euro exam this year. Thanks for your tips, everyone! I was worried that the proctor would take my paper at the slightest semblance of being done.
