I know that I have to send colleges my grades Senior yr, and I am kinda scared about it. I have been a straight A student since Freshman year, and this year (junior year), I failed a mid-term exam. I got all A's except in that class (got a B for final). My question is that will the college see that I failed the mid-term exam even though it's not a final exam?

Thanks :)

it solely depends on your high school and what they report on your transcript.

Ok, thank you. I’ll ask my HS counselor when school starts. (:

one B isn’t going to hurt you no matter how you look at it.

I’ve never heard of a school having mid-term grades on their official transcript. If for some reason it’s on there, one B and one failed tests definitely won’t make or break you. You’ll be fine. Honestly!

I know I was worried about the failing grade. I got around a 20 on the mid-term exam and mid-terms always show up on my report card, so I was just wondering.

Just because its on the report card doesn’t mean its on the transcript. Request an unofficial one for yourself and you’ll see what’s on there.

That’s an easy question for your guidance counselor to answer.
