<p>I know that in most schools one will be notified about the awardance of Merit Based scholarships with his or her acceptance letter, at least i think. But when is one notified about the need based aid he or she will recieve from filling out the CSS profile and FASFA worksheet?</p>
<p>most schools will give you an estimate of the FA package with the acceptance -- the package can be adjusted up or down depending on the final filing of the FAFSA and Profile numbers (most people have to estimate those numbers due to the FA deadline for the school).</p>
<p>Sometimes, the acceptance letter will not contain the FA package -- but that information will follow shortly after that -- the exception is when you missed filing the required FA paperwork ACCURATELY AND COMPLETELY AND BEFORE THE DEADLINE. So it is really important to stay on top of that.</p>
