<p>Just because someone's stats are good doesn't mean they have a great shot everywhere. A 4.0 GPA, 2250 SAT's, and being the president of a few clubs gives you about a 5% chance at Harvard. I think most people on this site, even the ones with great stats, truly want to know their chances of getting into good schools.</p>
<p>Now, are some kids here to brag? Yeah, probably. But give them a break... where else are they going to get that out of their system without sounding rude? ;)</p>
<p>Maybe if anger is your first response to someone who has better stats than you, the problem is yours, not theirs. </p>
<p>Nobody here is the best at everything, so there's no reason to be upset when you see someone more accomplished than you. Those people will always exist, throughout your life. Learn to deal with it. Hopefully it will motivate you, not discourage you.</p>
<p>I'm not trying to sound condescending or anything, because there are tons of people on here who make my app look like a total joke, but that's just my two cents.</p>

<p>well i think jimmy is right about the sour grapes thing, but it really is demoralziing. and as long as we don't condemn or belittle the achievements of these star shooters then a little rant is alright.</p>
