1 week left....any tips?

For those taking the Oct. 6 SAT...are you nervous? Confident?
To be honest, I have all my lucky charms on right now.

I don’t know if words like these are allowed on this forum, but: I’M NERVOUS AND WORRIED AS ****! :D. Didn’t help much, did I? :D

I know, right? Same! I’m so worried…and my mom’s like whatever happens, happens.

Same goes for my mother too. The good news is, I’m having a practice test tomorrow and this would probably give me the confidence I need, assuming that I’ll do good on it of course! Will be posting results for those who care ! :)

^^ Would love to hear the results!
I’ll be taking one tomorrow as well! Hoping to also get a bit of studying in too!

Um, right now, I’m feeling the pressure and nerves about the test… It’s crunch time —that’s what I call the last days before taking it, lol. I tend to crunch in as much as possible.

How have all y’all been with studying and having school?

Gosh…I have so much crap to do this weekend along with this ridiculous APUSH reading and test on Monday, and to top it all, an English paper is due. My main focus was the SAT, though. In the long run, I feel the SAT is what will matter more than some silly English paper or one AP quiz.

I’ve been really nervous, too. My mom said I talked in my sleep for the past two nights. Lol

Hah, I’m so nervous too! I have a lot of crap to do this weekend, but I’m hoping to squeeze in two more practice tests before I take the SAT, but I don’t know if that’s going to happen.

26Antara, I am coincidentally in the same boat as you… APUSH test on monday and an essay due, along with the SAT on saturday.

My weekend’s pretty busy too! I have two english essay rewrites, a bio lab, and a spanish project all due Monday. I’m thinking about skipping the math sections on the practice test because I’m pretty confident with my math score. Vocabs and the essay are the ones that are bothering me… I hope I get an “easy” essay topic on saturday (:
Good luck all test takers!!

Freaking out here just like a lot of others. Worried but confident ill score above my last score by at least 100. I hope this goes well and best of luck to everyone. Vocabulary is bugging me but I’m solid on the other two. Best of luck to everyone!!! :)

My writing will boost by a hundred.

My math…I need it to improve by 40. Neeeeeeed it.

My reading was perfect first sitting, so I might just take a nap during that section.

not really.

I’m very nervous. I’m going to apply Early Decision to Stanford so I have to get at least 2300 or I die :frowning: Even then, I probably won’t get accepted because I don’t really have a hook, but I need to give it my best effort any way :D

It’s weird. I never thought October 6th would come…and then it’s like BAM! Out of the blue. Best of luck to all of us! :)

Hope I improve 200 in reading section. Hope I get 800 in math this time. Hope I get 750 in Writing. That will be enough. Haha.

I’m hoping for a 2000+ total!

Good luck to all y’all  Make this last week count!

If you haven’t done so already, try to take few tests straight through, like in the real test situation - time yourself and pace yourself. Bring some energy boosting foods and drinks with you on the test day - peanuts, raisins, high energy drinks. A lot of students run out of steam.

Is it really permitted to bring energy drinks?
If so, I am going to bring a Red Bull there, seriously.

@bilguutei

You can, but will only be able to drink it during break outside of the testing room. Well, that’s what I was told be CB when I asked them and the proctor said the same when I just wanted to confirm… I had two of them before my test because I got up super early for some last minute prep.

Yea, thanks.
I knew about when and where I’ll be using drinks and snacks.
I just wanted to be sure that I can bring “high energy drinks” as he said.
Anyway, good luck for you. I’ll be taking the test on Oct 6th, too!

So I managed to take 2 practice tests over the weekend, and am now officially done with the BB. Any last minute prep tips? Should I even bother reviewing vocab?
