I have my first SAT exam next Saturday (28th Jan)...I'm in the UK so a mixture of procrastination and focusing on domestic exams means I haven't done any SAT preparation. I took the PSAT in October with no preparation and got:
Critical Reading - 73
Maths - 62
Writing Skills - 57

How do I go about learning as much as I can in the next week? (will have about 2 hours today and tomorrow...and an hour a day next week from Monday-Thursday + whole of Friday evening). I've got the SAT Blue Book and "Hot Words for SAT".

I don't think I really have time to learn words from the book...was thinking on just focusing on past papers? I plan on doing some tests (focusing on Maths and Writing Skills) in the Blue Book and making notes on what I get wrong...then keep doing tests and reviewing the notes until the exam...is that the best way to do it?

And how do I go about practising my essays...I've never done one due to not having to do it on the PSAT.

I'm taking it again in June and October...so it's not the end of the world if I **** up...but I'd appreciate any help on how to go about doing this.
