Who else is going to take it? What score are you aiming for? What last-minute study strategy are you using?
I know I'm probably not the only one freaking out about May 1st, so I hope we can share our thoughts on that! :D

Estoy freakandome. Yep, I am definitely pretty scared. I refuse to remember my last score, I just want to do a lot better. I am using the big blue book.

What can we accomplish in one week?! What can we do to improve our scores in one week? What are some last minute things to do to boost scores? lol, yea, I’m stressed…but I need some tips on grabbing an extra 50-70 pts. Anything I can do to get this?

^Look through Direct Hits for vocab you don’t know, make sure you’re familiar with the Sparknotes seven deadly rules (google this), review math concepts you’re rusty on.

Relax and have fun :)

And good luck.

I’m taking it && im super nervous. I’m also using the blue book. im aiming for at least a 1600

so, with score choice, if I expect to do better the next time around, does this May SAT even matter? should I just consider it as a ‘warm up’ for the Oct. SAT since I expect to do better on that one?

Would I get hurt/affected in any way if I did worse on this SAT than on the next one I write?

Two words-

Super Eager!

Thanks for reminding me.

^Your score does matter for non-score choice schools. Do your best (something you should always do).

i’m taking SAT IIs.

US History- 750-800
Bio E- 750-800
Math II- 650+

For what its worth i took the SATs for the first time in March
CR:800
Math: 690
Writing: 610

Good luck, everyone.

Not too tense. Happy with first score, hoping for a 2100 or higher. I was uber nervous my first time so now I’m just relaxed. Do direct hits, go to bed at 8, take a shower to wake yourself up and see how you do.

Best of luck everyone!

I’m taking as well =]

I just did the March test (780CR-800M-680W) and now I’m retaking for writing. >.< The ironic thing is writing is my best subject outside of the SAT world?

Anyway I’m not too stressed since it’s the second time. I’ll be happy as long as I get a 700+ in writing which should be doable - I had ~78W on my PSAT so my fingers are crossed.

I already went through almost all of the blue book the first time around so I’m just kind of…not preparing. Taking a practice test this weekend though which should be a fabulous time.

Good luck everyone!

RAWR!! This is my last and only attempt for SAT cos I’m going to army afterward (compulsory for my country). Still 100+ points short from my targeted score(2100)…

I’m taking SAT II’s which are slightly less stressful imo.

Shooting for 750+ in Math. 700+ in CR (Any combination that I get a 1450+ combined for both is ok with me though) And writing I’m not worried about. 600+ is fine.

Where are you all finding DH? And which one’s Jersey?

Aiming to pull up my overall score from 2190 (in december, no prep) to 2250. Hopefully the increase will come from math, which I need to increase from a 670. I think I’ll just keep taking practice tests, since the time component is always what gets me on math.

my aim
math 700
reading 500 since i’m not american or live in english speaking world…
total 1200
writing is unnecessary…

Aim:
800M, 740W, 700CR

Probably Will get
780-800M, 700W, 680CR.
