10 Days Until ED Decision! Who's Nervous?

@bluejay13: Thank you  that really did make me feel better haha.

Wow
you guys are so competitive. I feel that I have no chance to get into JHU now
sigh

Soramay,

I wouldnt worry too much right now since you cant do anything about it. We have all done everything possible and now we just have to sit back and try to relax. Its a crap-shoot anyway, so you may get in and the guy with the 36 ACT may get deferred
you never know.

“Decisions are e-mailed: Sometime after 6:00 p.m. EST on Wednesday, December 15, we will begin sending Early Decision notification e-mails. No decisions will be e-mailed prior to this time, and there is no exact time set when e-mails will begin being sent.”

just about 48 hours left!!

Just a randon question:
have any of u guys received any sort of email from hopkins recently?
i havent, and its making me more nervous for some reason

No, I haven’t received an email since a confirmation email when I turned the app in. I got a package in the mail awhile ago though.

Anyone else get anything?

i got one from financial aid office but that was cause i was missing something.

other than that. nope, nothing. its also making me slightly nervous lol i just wanna know!!

I haven’t gotten any emails either (thankfully, because I’m assuming that means I’m not missing anything  ). The wait is really killing me! I keep on checking the Brown, Dartmouth, Cornell, UPenn threads, and I’m just worried how decisions are going to pan out for Hopkins this year

what i don’t understand is that the email says i have to turn in the supplement but i turned it in and the i know the admissions office received it because i asked them. guess ill find out if they got it or not in TWO DAYS!!!

I wonder what percentage of EDs that are deferred to RD get accepted? Just curious, mostly just in case

Oh and I haven’t recieved any emails really. My conselor forgot to sign something so they emailed me about it but that’s it. Nothin’ else. Rather sketchyy.

apparently they just finished their second round of looking at apps on Saturday. cutting it close. As long as i find out wednesday, i’m alright, hopefully it’s good news :/

tboypatel, mind sharing a link from where you found that info? I’d love to read up on it haha

@tboypatel: I got this too after submitting my application. (I turned in my supplement with my app)

Hah, that is pretty close! But I agree, as long as I find out Wednesday, I’m happy.
Hmmm
its most likey cause they got so many apps, huh? Aughh

yup same here. that’s a relief. i can’t wait til wednesday. i guess im lucky im central time so i get my email at 5 instead of six :).

same here, but I volunteer at the hospital on wednesdays at that time, so I’m getting my mom to check the email and text it to me lol

whewww i was freaking out cause today i got emails from all colleges but johns hopkins university. but i guess they dont send you an email unless youre missing something. can you believe that the decision comes out in less than two days
? im so worried
:frowning: i cant focus on anything

@seandonohue8 it was on their twitter updates. it’s on the side of this page [Hopkins Insider Application Cycle (’10-’11)](http://blogs.hopkins-interactive.com/blog/category/application-cycle-2010-2011/)
it says twitter updates and its the tenth of december so my bad, it was friday not saturday

@goddagotocollege: Yeah same here! Focusing on anything-- as hard as I try-- is not happening hah :stuck_out_tongue: and I have finals this week too

Hmm
I don’t want my parents to find out before meee. Idk. I feel like I need to be the first to know but I have band when its released. So I’m gonna be dying too Anouchi hah.
Oi vey.
