<p>absolutely not bashing on middlebury (the school is really nice) or berry or other schools with these nice pictures, but anyone can take flattering pictures of universities. i believe someone posted really pretty pictures of berkeley - and berkeley is not what i would call a pretty campus.</p>
<p>I would say the real truth to a pretty campus lies in the upkeep of the buildings - something you can't judge with a panorama shot overviewing dozens of buildings. </p>
<p>So when it comes down to that - the most impecibly maintained campuses ive ever seen are the university of richmond and vanderbilt. i swear to god, there must be men and women doing the landscaping with fine toothed combs - not a shred of grass out of place, nor a crack in any paint, or a stain on any rug in the dorms (not to mention that the dorms have real walls - not cinderblock).</p>
