Hmm, must cut off at 5 wrong for an 80 subscore- luckily I just caught the tail end :).

It sounds like 6 MC wrong and a 10 on the essay is the lowest you can get to still get an 800.

one of my friends got an 8 on the essay and a 800 (no mC's wrong) in May

i got a 10 and like 3 mc wrong i think and got an 800

Hey, for those of you who got a 10-rated essay and 6 MCs wrong, what month did you take the test?

I took the Oct test- got a 12 on the essay, bombed MC with 7 wrong, and still got an 800.

geniezclone, May

Same here. (in response to the question of what test day)

here is a question: what if i got about 12 wrong on the MC, and got a 8 essay, what would that be around?

neelsh, i will say 630 to 680 (according to "Real SAT II Subjects Test")

ouch..dang. i wanted a 700..lets hope i do better on the essay lol

Yeah, my PR book says 630 as well. You would need 4 MC wrong as opposed to 12 for something around 700.

1 MC wrong and 10 on essay received an 800 in October

how do you know what you got on the essay? where can these scores be found?

mk13, on the score report that is mailed to you. The online score page doesn't show the MC and essay subscores.
