I just finished the current BB and still need more practice. So I purchased the old 10 Real SAT's (2000 edition) used. Can someone give me a breakdown of the test. For example the current college board book has:
1 essay section
3 math sections
3 critical reading sections
2 writing sections
Thanks

it doesnt have the writing/essay but has analogies and qc

You won’t be doing timed sections, so I wouldn’t worry about it. As jubilant mentioned, throw out the analogies and qualitative comparisons and you’re golden.

So are the analagies a section of their own, and are the qualitative comparisons a section of their own, or are they mixed in with other msth problems. What did you mean by I won’t be doing timed test? Maybe it will help if I explain why I want to know the format. I’m trying to make a little lesson plan for myself by planning how many sections per day I can complete before the October test. So if I have 50 something days until the test, then I can do a section per day and get 50 sections done. Thanks

you won’t be able to do sections in this book the same way you do the sections in the blue book. it’ll mainly just be for practice-- you shouldn’t time it because more often than not, you’re going to have to cut out 10 or so questions from each section (qualitative comparisons and analogies. they’re built into the sections).

Okay, thanks everyone
