10 realistic math 2c tests

do any of you guys have either of these?

15 Realistic Tests for the SAT* Math Level 2 Subject Test: With Solutions (formerly known as SAT Math Level IIC)

10 Realistic SAT II Math IIC Test Booklets

I really want to get one but amazon won't ship it out until 2-3 weeks from now. i won't have enough time to study then. do you know any other place where i could purchase it from. or could you possibly sell it to me?

I got the 10 math books, but I need it, sorry.
I'm surprised amazon is so backed up, maybe people are realizing how sweet 10 or 15 tests is.

if your local book store (b/n, whatever) has any review books, just go to the store, take a couple of tests on separate paper, leave, come back the next day, do the same

i've done that 2 days straight (doing PR tests, kaplan tests, sparknotes tests, reals tests) before taking exams and gotten many 800s

Amazon is pretty funny with this one. I tried a month ago to order 10 Realistic, but they cancelled the order. Then I tried two weeks later and got it!

I've never gone through the books, but I'd love to know how realistic you guys think the 15 Realistic Tests for the SAT* Math Level 2 Subject Test: With Solutions and 10 Realistic SAT II Math IIC Test Booklets really are...

Any feedback?

That's weird about Amazon. I'd guess the books are published by a small publishing company that wasn't handling demand very well...

pete, the books don't seem to be sold anywhere else. i've done several searches. all the results i had just linked back to amazon. also, if you just look at the feedback on amazon.com, it's obvious the 10/15 realistic tests are great, not to mention both products got 5/5.

Thanks, tigeruppercut, I might have to give them a look...

They seem very realistic to me. Rusen kicks ass.

PR, Kaplan, Sparknotes etc all have practice tests in the back that are pretty realistic.

btw, if you're really stuck, you can pay Sparknotes online to take many many SAT2 tests... it's not THAT expensive, it costs less than the books would I think

Check the used book section. I checked Amazon and some were listed. Some books are really not used but new.

The issue is that the books of Rusen are almost private editions.

Actually, Davidn08, I've found the PR, Kaplan and Sparknotes to be fairly unrealistic, which is why I'm always keeping my eye out for something better.

Yesterday when I checked the books were available and listed as "shipped within 24 hours", but that doesn't always mean what it says :)

Rusen doesn't live in the U.S. but his books are published in the U.S. by a small company. The copies are limited because they don't want to overproduce and they are no longer in booklet form because the US publisher doesn't like that format, which sucks, because the booklets are awesome.

I got the 15 Realistic tests, but I really must wonder how realistic they are. A lot of the questions are ambiguously worded, unlike the SAT II. I also score about 100 points less than I did on one of the REAL SAT II Math IIC tests.

An interesting technique used by the author, but not on the actual tests, is to have answer choices that differ by a hundredth or so. EX: A.12.36 B. 12.37 C. 53.22 D. 2.32 E. 7.92

So while any practice is nice, I can't say these are just like the real thing.

If you score less, then that means he is using more hard problems than the real ones and isn't that good? Who cares what you get in practice tests, take the real one and get a 800, that is when it will count.

"Yesterday when I checked the books were available and listed as "shipped within 24 hours", but that doesn't always mean what it says"

i ordered mine a week ago and the predicted DELIVERY day is between may17-may26. wow. i hope that's a machine error or something?

it turns out there was some issue with my credit card. got that fixed and received it a few days ago.

... simurg almost every post you made is about Rusen Meylani's tests .... you don't work for his company do you. I'm not trying to be offensive just a little curious

Who knows, but they are good tests, and I don't work for him.

He does seem to be advertising though.

Hi everyone! I am a new member here, and I just want to hear you opinions regarding my situation.

I am planning to go into the business field in college, and I am planning to apply to a few Ivy Leagues as well. I will be taking the math SAT II next month, but should I take the Math IIC or the Math IC? I have not practiced for the Math IIC, but I am planning to buy the Baron's practice book because everyone seems to like it (even tho it "overpreps" you). Thank you for reading and any suggestions would be really nice!
