If you have above a 3.5 GPA and have completed most of your pre-reqs, don’t worry about IGETC, you’ll get accepted for Math/Econ (math majors are always in desperate demand).

Now as a Math/Econ major myself, I STRONGLY recommend you take all your GE stuff and finish your IGETC at community college. Why? Because you don’t want to waste your time taking them when you are at UCLA. Especially when there are so many bomb math, econ, and math/econ classes offered. I personally am tremendously happy that I get to devote all my study time to things I truly find interesting/really help towards my major.
