Boston University has a Full Tuition scholarship for International Students. But I just want to clarify that this is tuition, not room, board, books, or miscellaneous needs like laundry etc. I think they have a few hidden awards that they also extend to exceptional international students as well, during the review process.

Looks like that BU scholarship is competitive…not assured. With your 2300, you’d likely have a good chance.

There are some schools that will give you a full tuition scholarship for that SAT as long as your GPA is also high.

What is your GPA?

Also…since a tuition scholarship ONLY pays for TUITION, your family would still have to pay for…room, board, books, fees, misc expenses, personal expenses and int’l travel.

They will pay all other expenses I only want tuition scholarships … Can you please give me a list of those colleges which you are talking about …and the required GPA

There is no one simple list to give you. Colleges and universities change their policies about this when they feel like it. You need to sit down in front of a computer, and run some of the college-matching search engines to find out which institutions offer the major you are interested in, and which of those currently offer financial aid to international applicants. Then you have to check each institution’s website to find out the most recent information. Anything we tell you today, could be wrong tomorrow.

Many of those scholarships are only for domestic students. So, go to the Int’l pages of these schools to find out what scholarships (if any) they will award to int’ls.

The University of Alabama will give their scholarships to int’ls who have the required stats and who apply on time…before Dec 1st. I suggest applying now because int’l apps can take sometimes take longer to process because of documentation that is needed for.

If you click on the box titled “Cost & Financial Aid”, and scroll down, you can choose the option to search for colleges and universities that offer aid to international students. Click that button, and then click on “See Results”. This will pull up the whole list. Some of these institutions do offer full-tuition and fees scholarships, others don’t. You can refine the list further by location, and majors, and then check each institution’s website.

You also should spend some time reading through the threads in the International Students Forum. [International Students - College Confidential](International Students - College Confidential Forums) Many people there have done this type of research themselves, and they will have suggestions for you. Some of them have reported researching several hundred colleges and universities this way in order to find the best opportunities for themselves.

Just go to college websites for colleges you might be interested in attending. Use their search function and search for “international student financial aid” or “international student scholarships”. You will get the info you need.

There are 3000 or so colleges in the U.S. You haven’t given folks a speck of a hint to narrow down this list. YOU must have a sense of colleges where you might want to go to school…or at least a geographic location…or something. If so, do a google search for “colleges in Boston”…or wherever you think you might want to be…and then look at their financial aid policies.

Seriously…it’s not hard to get this information and YOU have more criteria to bring to this search than anyone on this forum.

you have to have the ambition to get things done yourself. If you really want a full ride or full tuition, make it happen for yourself. colleges want to see that kind of ambition in students.
