1080p TV

I am looking for a nice 1080p TV to connect my ps3 to in my room. What is the best deal for 24" and under screens? I would also like it to have the option to connect to regular cable TV. Maximum budget is $175.

Your not getting that for under 175 dollars unless it is a used TV (and I mean has been used for a few years) or it’s under 18 inches . I would expect to spend anywhere from 200-500 dollars for around a 20-25 inch TV, depending on the manufacture.

Does it have to be a TV? You can get higher resolution computer monitors for cheaper than that, and they’ll have DVI, VGA, and HDMI inputs. Look on best buy, newegg, or other sites.

get a monitor, and 1080p doesnt usually come in sizes that small for cheaper than 175

If it’s for your dorm room then it’s really not worth it man. Just get a 720p and you also won’t have a HD cable for your TV. If it’s just for your PS3 not worth paying that much since 1080p TVs for those prices are very hard to find. As everyone else said, it would be a refurbished TV. Newegg usually has great deals, Best Buy might also.

You can get a HD tuner for your computer and watch TV on your monitor. They go for $70-$90. Cheaper than buying a TV AND a computer.

And just get a TV tuner USB stick

Thanks for the input everyone, and for the links pyroza. I will probably wait till summer since I don’t have much time to play now anyway.

I’d actually recommend a HD projector. :)
