1100$+ balance on my account?

I have been keeping an eye on a math class I really wanted to take for weeks to see if anyone is going to drop out. Today tI finally got a spot in the class and signed up for it.

Then I checked my student account and voila, there is 1100+$ balance on my student account! The school is closed til January 3rd or 4th, and I am confused at why I am being charged 1100+$ for signing up for just one more class. My Spring 2017 semester load is 17 credit. For those who don’t know me yet, I am presidential scholarship and engineering scholarship recipient.

Could anyone explain me this absurdity?

I’ve seen sources saying that the max the presidential scholarship covers is 12-16 hours. I’ve also seen sources saying that it covers as many as you take… Definitely interested in the answer.

No, I took 17 credits on Fall 2015 and it was all covered.

I just checked my account, and it was adjusted to 49$. Disregard the thread please.

Presidential scholarship students can take as many credits as they want. Over 17 or 18 needs a signature, but covered
