<p>I’ve been looking through the supplement form. I have a rough outline of my “Why Penn” essay but I will do major revisions soon!</p>
<p>Are you planning on applying early admission? I started drafting my “Why Penn?” essay today.</p>
<p>I am not sure yet. It depends on how I’m feeling around October. Are you applying early?</p>
<p>i wanna apply early to Penn as well…how’d you guys get your hands on the penn app supplement form this early or the why penn essay prompt?</p>
<p>I will likely be applying early depending on how my visit goes. Wharton is a dream for me and hopefully my passion for finance comes thorough in my EC’s and essays and allows the adcoms to look past my average if not below average Wharton SATs and mediocre grades.</p>
<p>I assume we both looked at this year’s supplement. The why Penn prompt has not changed for a while and I doubt it will. The question maybe altered but the purpose will still be to demonstrate why you want to attend Penn.</p>

<p>Ivy golfer, I too have mediocre grades for a school like Wharton. I’m taking my SATs in May and will hopefully do well on those. I’m hoping that my passion for leadership and business really shine through. Have you visited the school yet?</p>
<p>Yikes… now it’s our turn HS class of '13. My (our?) ED decisions will be the next decisions Penn makes (after the wait-list decisions I suppose…). I’ve already visited but I think I’ll head back to stay with a friend in the fall of my senior year. I’m leaning towards CAS but I may apply to Wharton.</p>

<p>Man. You people are really insane. In the best definition of the word! I remember typing up my Why Penn essay in one afternoon and submitting it right after. Rough draft = final draft. </p>

and I believe it was my essays that got me in. So work hard on those!</p>
