why are there two simultaneous threads about the December Writing SATII? I just thought that was pretty funny. yes, I = easily amused.

whoa... that is a nice topic... dang... should've thought of that

btw, you guys think my essay maybe wavered a little bit in terms of staying with the topic?
I mean rulers and subjects... that's not really off-topic is it?

My points in the essay were...

Thesis: yeah you know my thesis stated above.

1st paragraph: In Shakespeare's play, Julius Caesar was loved by citizens.
Julius Caesar was good to the plebians as well as to the patricians.
He went to the meeting because it was for the good of the people, even though a plot was awaiting him there.
I introduced my quote "cowards...the valiant..." and said that Caesar stood up in the face of danger for the good of the community.
Therefore, he will be remembered and glorified...etc

2nd paragraph:
Shakespeare's character of Macbeth was almost directly contrasting to Julius Caesar.
Macbeth-thane of Scotland.
Macbeth gave up his honor, glory, and "eternal jewel", and traded it for the throne.
He abandoned the good of his subjects, and followed his greed and lust for power.
He will be "forever" remembered as an evil tyrant...etc.

Conclusion: lol... yeah it sounds stupid but I ended the essay somewhere along the lines of:
"As we continue in this hourglass of time, what road will the next ruler take? The way of a tyrant, or the path of a hero?"
Does that sound awkward? Cause I think it does...

sheesh.. you guys making me nervous...

anyone make up stuff? i made up a guy and a quote that "he" said. lol
