Since summer, I've been reading and re-reading PR and doing as many practice problems as I could get my hands on. I've got the red book and I'm saving my last test for the day before the test. Thankfully I don't have to go to school that day! So, are there any suggestions to what I should do these last days leading up to the test?

Just keep taking practice problems and make sure you sleep well the night before the test. I also suggest that about an hour before you take the real test you read something (a newspaper article, a couple of pages from a book, etc.) just to get your mind into things. Because the ACT requires that you work quickly, it's better that you read something beforehand so by the time you get to the test, you'll be going through questions as fast as lightning. :D

that's a very good tip atrophicwhisper. i had noticed how i'm always a little slower when i start a standardized test.

Listen to some Mozart, it gets your mind going. I did it the morning of the SAT. Yeah and definitely read up on some passages to get your mind ready that morning.

zomaguh!
i have the test on sep 13th too!
i'm getting so worried
and thanks for the tips you guys, i'll try it this weekend
over the weekdays i'll just do like 1 or 2 sections each day.

Yeahhhhh why does it have to be so soon... lol I feel like I need more time.

Practice practice practice... I'm getting more confident since i'm getting like 29/30 on my science/reading tests which are my 2 weakest...

yeah, science and reading are my two weakest, too. they're kind of bologna. it seems like a test of who can read at an ungodly speed and answer mostly obvious questions within the time limit.

lol
dude i read so damn slow
i get like 27s as average on my reading and i get like 28s as averages on my science
math i finally got over 30 which was 33 today! yippeee! i just hope i can keep it up
and reading...oh boy..i got a 25 today for some reason >.< but i usually get around 29

i just wish they give you more time
i want at least a 32 =/
i gotzta get meself a book tomarrow and practiz som mo'

Im ****ting my pants, I got my score to a 31, and 33 on my first try! LOL but im scared that the red book tests are easier than the real thing

^ the red book IS real ACTs from the past.. so it should be very accurate and the difficulty should be nearly identical to the real things

lol....it says "the Real ACT prep guide" - includes 3 real tests!

i went to the library today to borrow act books and this one greedy ass mutha*****in woman took like 10 act/sat books
i was amazed.....and she wasn't even asian! (i'm asian so it's ok for me to stereotype :P)
