<p>The Northwestern website says that AP credits can only be used for 2 of the 12 distribution requirements. I'm a bit confused on the distribution requirements. Are they the same as the 6 course areas?</p>
<p>Yes- 2 from each of the 6 areas = 12. You can only use 2 total aps to fulfill those 12, and each must be in a different one of the 6 areas. (e.g. you can’t eliminate one area entirely with APs)</p>
