12 hours a semester

my son registered for next semester and he says the advisers are still telling him to only take 12 hours. what gives? I can understand the first semester taking only 12 because they are not used to college, etc, but how is supposed to finish if he doesn't take more credit hours.

he's thinking of adding a course. can anyone suggest an easy Gordon Rule course? he'll be taking macroeconomics and statistics but he took those AP in high school but didn't score high enough on the test.

Does he have any credits already? I did, and they told me to take it easy just because you already ahve credits. I’m taking MUH2051 [music world culture] with Strothers, I have a 100 in the class… very fun, very interesting, very simple!

There’s a 3000 level class called Ancient Mythology. Someone summed it up well by saying “You need to be wearing a helmet to not get an A in this class” It gets an x, w (gordon rule), lit, and humanity out of the way.

I’ve heard the same things about the ancient mythology class, and i’m actually taking it next semester too haha. Since he’s taking macro and stats i’m guessing he’s a business major. There’s a required pre-req computer class cgs2100 which is reallyreallyreally easy, but it’s not a gordon rule. An interesting class i’m in right now is multicultural film, and it’s also pretty easy. It’s a y and w. Hope this helps :)

he’s taking multicultural film now, too. he’s also taking cgs2100 this semester. don’t know if he’d like mythology. I’ll pass it along with the information on the music course.

can you give me the course number for the mythology course

thanks for the mythology tip…my son had heard about it as well and he just registered for it. there were only 4 seats left.
