UC WGPA: 4.1 I took all the AP classes that were offered to me.

I applied to all the UCs. can someone tell me my acceptance rate to each one, thank you.

bump

I applied to UCSB this year, too! We have similar UC GPA(mine is 4.08, but as you took all AP classes offered to you, I guess you’re better than me.) Though my SAT is higher than yours, (mine is 1410) your EC is definitely deeper than mine, haha…
Anyway, based on your stat, you have not really that good chance. I’m not saying no nor slim chance, but your SAT, as well as your major, CS, may hold you back. Did you take any SAT Subject test?

I got 650 Math II

Let me be honest with you. As GPA is king on UC Admission, your GPA is around average of admitted freshman, but for CS, you need to be more than average. Just know that, college of engineering, in which computer science is, is way more competitive than Letter and Science is.
Average SAT is around 1380, I guess, so your SAT is pretty lower than average. Math two score is not bad, but more than 10% get 800.
Your EC is fine, way better than mine. Still, it’s not stellar.
So, I would say you’re between High Match and Low Reach. You’re, like me, in the middle pack, which can be easily rejected, waitlisted or get in.
I hope your essay and other circumstances which are not addressed here would make you in!

cool thanks @Gumbymom ur opinion?

Agree with @HomeWithKevin’s assessment of a High Match-Low Reach for CS. Your GPA is on target but UCSB also likes High Test scores and not just in Math and you are below the averages. They also put a larger emphasis on EC’s and essays than some of the other campuses, so this could help you.

Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 3.80-4.19:

UCB: 12%
UCLA: 14%
UCSD: 39%
UCSB: 49%
UCD: 52%
UCI: 57%
UCSC: 83%
UCR: 90%
UCM: 92%

Good Luck.

UC Davis is more selective than UC Irvine? Wow

lol i got accepted in ee and my gpa is literally 3.8

I got accepted to ucsd with a 3.8

Sat score 1180

May I ask which major did you get in with 3.8 and SAT 1180? it is so difficult to figure out what majors are requiring higher score, thank you so much!
