1270 SAT vs. 27 ACT: Will the ACT Screw Me Over?

I took the SAT in May 07 and got M:680 and CR:590 (1270)
Took it again in October and got M:550 and CR:570 (1130)
i dont know what happened..

I then took the ACT in December and got a 27

I know that 27 is a little bit lower in comparison to the 1270 but I figured that it might show some stability that'll play to my advantage as opposed to just sending SAT's because the two scores are so varied. Does this make sense and is it a good idea?

They aren’t that different… I don’t think it really proves anything by sending in your ACT.

I see where you’re coming from. If it makes you feel more comfortable, then you should go ahead and do it. I did the same thing for some schools. The first time I took the sat I got a 1080, I took it again and got a 1410. Now i’m sending my 30 ACT to some schools where I think it might be beneficial. But remember, most schools take your highest scores from any date, so you should be fine.
