Hey, so I took the PSAT in sophomore year, and got an amazingly bad 1320. Junior year I took it again, and scored an 1840. March SAT I got an 1850, and this past June SAT I got a 1940, but my superscore is 1970. Without studying a lot more, is it doable to get in the 2100-2200 range by the next SAT testing date in October, or no?

You have taken it 3 times already…Colleges strongly advise against taking it more than that.

He’s taken it 2 times…
And yes why not try to get it.
I got a 2040 on my first SAT and with almost no studying I got a 2240 on the June SAT.
If you feel like you can do better, try for it.

I think he/she took the PSAT twice and the SAT twice
do you mean you got a 132 and 184 on your PSATs?

Looks like OP took 2 Sats and 2 PSATs to me. GO FOR IT!!! It can’t hurt to try. Good Luck!

Oh… I thought all the scores after the “1320” were SATs.

Definitely take it once more, then.

i went from 1990(dec) to 2230(june) :)

240 point increase
anything is possible !

Don’t get your hopes up if you don’t plan on studying. If you study hard, it’s possible, but your chances are slim otherwise.

It is possible if you work hard. I improved 320 points from January (1980) to June (2300), so I’d say go for it and study hard! good luck!

^Congrats on the score.

If I may ask how did you study for that dramatic improvement? Was it a test prep class, hardcore studying at home, or did you just take it? I got a 2070 on the June SAT on my first try, and really want to break into the 2200+ so any help (especially on math) on what/how to study would be great.

Go for it. It can’t hurt to try. You can certainly get 2100+ if you try hard.

Hey! I had a REALLY similar situation
I took the SAT in march and got a 1840; I took it again in June (with AP’s to study for) and got a 2100. I’m planning on taking it again in the fall.
So, yeah, I think it’s really attainable
