14000 undergrads! Is Cornell clustered?

I have never been to Cornell because I live miles away and 14000 undergrads sound clustered. I really don't want to be clustered. So please is Cornell big enough to have this 14000 undergrads spaced out and not clustered together? I know some people don't live on campus but does this make a significant difference? What about classes? Do over 250 people cluster at a class listening to one professor or it's like your regular high school class of about 20-30 students? I know this isn't really relevant but are the campus rooms fine? And how many people stay in a room?

It’s definitely not “clustered”, but all the freshmen live in North Campus, which has 14 dorms with (typically) ample spacing. Some classes do have hundreds of people, but those are usually the more popular 1000 and 2000 level classes, and even that is dependent on your major. College is very different from high school.

Too many people is not a thing you ever have to worry about in Ithaca.

I’m relieved thank you guys so much

Cornell is small!

UMich is 60,000!
