What do I need on the ap computer science a exam to place out of it? That is the only programming course required for my major so if I place out of it will I have to take any more computer science courses?

4 or 5 I think. It might depend on department...

Thanks orbit

This class is a joke. If you have any programming experience (you know what loops, arrays, and if statements are) then do not take it.

Unless you want an easy A don't take the course though. I don't think most majors have to take above 15100. Again I said most, not all.

But one person I know failed 15100 because he didn't do the work because it was so boring. He should have been in 15200.

Sorry but not doing work because of boredom is simply plain irresponsible. it may be busy work that is below your level, but my philosophy is this...

DO THE DAMN WORK.

<_<

I agree, Tooya- I mention my friend as an example of why you should go into the class that you place into instead of try to get an 'easy A' by retaking a class.

Well, I'm assuming that most 15-100 classes take attendance? I don't know because I don't have to take it :). I remember helping helping my friends a lot with the homework though. It is pretty basic material, if you got a 4 or 5 on the AP you shouldn't worry too much about it. However, you should review a bit just incase.

15-200 and 15-113 don't take attendance, so I doubt that 15-100 does, though 15-100 does tend to smaller classes, I think.

Interp did and that got annoying.
