15-point GPA scale...?

Hello fellow CC-ers,

I'm applying as a transfer this fall. I don't know if any of you have experience with strange GPA scales... But I'm trying to convert my high school GPA from what they list as "13.193". I'm assuming this is on the weighted, honors scale because there is a key at the bottom that says

"Average: 97-100, Reg: 12, Honors: 15.
Average: 93-96, Reg: 11, Honors: 14." etc.

So mathematically speaking... I would just divide 13.193 by 3 to get 4.398 as my weighted GPA, right?

Does that sound logical or did I maybe miss something? Also, should I try to figure out my unweighted GPA? I heard that colleges prefer that... But I don't know the rules for doing that either(include P.E. classes? include credits from middle school like algebra?). Ahh, it makes my head want to explode. Any help would be appreciated. :)

Just put your GPA in the application as is. Have your GC or registrars office send Rice a copy of the grading system. They will convert and analyze it

I would, but there is no option for a 15 point scale on the commonapp. There is only 4,5,6,7,10,11,12,100.

EDIT: Nevermind! I re-read the commonapp help box and it said to just leave it blank if the scale isn’t listed. Yay for dumb moments! Thank you for the quick response though, Antarius.
