15 Realistic Tests for SAT II MATH IIC

Hey guys,

I saw this book on Amazon and the reviews are pretty good. Anyone tried this before? Is it better than Barron's? Thx! =)

I just orderded mine, I can tell you in 5 days when it reaches here, geez amazon is slow.

looking forward to your review

I used it and took IIC in Oct. I also used Barrons as well. I havent received my score, but the book was SOO much harder than the real thing. I guess it's good in a way, but it makes you process a lot of unimportant info. If i do well in math, it',lll be worth it.

yeah, i dunno if it's worth the money. My local library doesn't have that book, though it has barron's. Would barron's suffice for Math IIC?

Barron's is notoriously more difficult than the real test and teaches you more than you really need to know. This can be a good thing, I guess. The 15 Math 2s is not bad, although the author doesn't do a great job of re-creating how most CB problems can be solved in multiple ways. His English is so-so. I also think the new McGraw Hill book is not bad. Available on Amazon.

Yes, Barron's is much harder. The real test was a breeze compared to Barron's.

i read PR, took their 2 tests, and took the 10 tests from Russen Meylani's older edition of those 15 tests for IIC and got an 800. The tests were slightly harder than the real test, 50 point difference at the max, but they're worth it.

did you guys (those that did great on SAT IIC) do all the tests in the barrons book? the questions are really hard and some were really things that I've never even seen before, so I'm doing the review that give summaries of the chapters and exercises - am I on the rigth path???
