Why is privacy needed??? Great for the local station to show that locals can do well. My son was 15 when got a 35 on the spring ACT of junior year, retook the SAT when barely 16 for the 2400 as a senior. Mostly 5’s, some 4’s on his many AP’s. He did minimal prep- made him go through a practice test for each (had done them for talent search in middle school as well). But he was a boy and could have studied more for some. I think it is fantastic to recognize when students do well- son only got his name/group photo for the good cross country sports team. Also nice to know that students away from the big cities and east coast also can be smart and do well. Gifted kids are all over. Not surprising that parents with advance degrees emphasize education and provide a good academic environment for their often innately gifted kids.
