153 Hemenway St.?

hey ppl

Was just wondering....im assigned the economy res hall quad on 153 hemenway St. It says it can acoomodate 4 people.

Also its the multicultural floor. Since they r all suite style, i was thinking if suites with 4 students living given bunk beds? or how is it generally? if anyone knows or visited.

Im assigned the 2nd floor (multicultural).

My bedroom number and bedspace number r the same. Does that mean im assigned a single?

Thanks!

153 was pretty sweet last year… i moved in during 2nd semester and really felt at home with the people… it was also the international hall so there were a lot of different backgrounds there and it was cool to interact with the people… i can say that all of 153 is suite style living where you will have a shared bathroom and then i think you have a big room where all 4 of you will sleep on bunkbeds and you each get your own desk, it depends, if you are a number ending in 3, so it think you might be 223 then you kinda got the shaft in the sense that you don’t share a room with another person, rather you share a big space with 3 other people, have like 2 closets and a shared bathroom… I lived in 425 last year and had a good time… I’m pretty sure the economy was next to me and that was 423 so I am assuming that you are in room 223 but I could be wrong. Its a cool dorm though and is a pretty tight community. You will get to know most if not all the people in the dorm and should have a good time… only negative is there is no elevator but 2nd floor is not bad at all to walk to

lol ! I’m in room 223! So how does these rooms differ from all the other rooms? u wrote that its a big space but i don’t get what you mean by a “shaft in the sense that you don’t share a room”?

by that i mean you have one large room with 2 bunk beds in it and 4 desks… you will have 2 closets and 1 shared bathroom… compared to other rooms in the building they are set up with an entrance door that opens to a hallway or common room… then there are 3 rooms connected (and a bathroom) to that hallway/common room that house 2 students each… so basically you share a room with 3 other people instead of having a more private room that you share with only 1 other person… if that makes any sense… picture this, you open your door and you will be in your room… open the door to another room, say 225, you will see a hallway with 3 bedroom doors and the bathroom door, each bedroom door opens to a smaller, more traditional style space that has 2 beds in it… the economy is not bad, its just a bit less private since you share with 3 people and not 1

lol i was room 225 last year! second floor of 153 is the best. Last year our floor was so crazy. Room 223 is a quad…4 beds…they are bunked…1 bathroom…bay windows

I am a january start student and will be living in room 425. from what i read it is an economy room. is it really that bad? anything i can do to make it better? hows the suite overall, location and room wise?
