16 AP Exams

I believe him. Just reminds me of the "I TOOK 32 AP's GUY"

This could easily be the same kind of thing, except that guy was way more believable. At least his were spread out, and he usually took the class for it. This guy is taking like 8 w/out a class, and using prep books and hopes to get 4/5's.

Well, a bit non sequitur, but yeah our school pays for all of our AP exams, too : ) If you enroll in the class, you are required to take the exam (so obv, the other tests you must pay for)

Also, for each student that passes, the teacher gets $50 and the school gets $50 (there is a limit on how much money the teacher gets, however)

Most of you people here should realize that this thread was started quite a long time ago, which means that the initial questions of the person who started it were probably already answered. So, now, it's up to you to decide whether or not this thread should still be posted in.

I just thought I would keep everyone updated on my progress. There seems to be some skepticism on whether or not I'm actually undertaking this endeavor. These are the tests I'm taking

I wouldn't sign up for a test I couldn't pass and I do intend to make 4s and 5s. I'm sorry if you all have a hard time believing someone out there could be so badass.

well, i only have to pay 8 DOLLARS per exam, yes 8 bucks. I love the state of minnesota. they pay for almost all of it.

have fun with those 3s!

I'm deeply saddened by the poor reading comprehension skills exhibited by our youth today, as previously stated my main objective is to simply pass the exams for the money. That is a moot point though because I will get 4s and 5s on the majority of them. I've already obtained the college credit I desire from my junior year AP exams where I received a score of 5 on English Language, US History, European History and Biology.

This is why AP is becoming a joke and less cared for by many university, Rumor was going around of some universities not accepting 3s anymore, cause is relative easy to get a study guide book 1 week prior to the exam and cram and score at least a 3. Many universities complained students passing up on classes to go to higher ones in the university (because of their AP scores) Actually lacked understanding and did not do as well as the students in the university whom took the lower class then the higher one. Either the APs get harder or universities don't care anymore... todays AP Calc test FR was harder then i had ever seen, i have heard the same about other AP tests i can see an upward trend. -Note one of my friends in college even mentioned that universities taught a 5 in Calc AB meant nothing cause it was fairly simple.

Anyway besides all that rant, i applaud you for taking 16 exams and good luck on your exams. How did you do on Calculus AB? I hope you have enough energy at the end of all this testing.

Good Luck!!

This is turning ugly. Look, if Corroborator wants to take so many exams, is he/she harming you in any way? If Corroborator may not get 5s in all of them, is he/she harming you in any way?

You should all just relax. We'll know in July whether taking so many exams was wise, but at this point, there's no reason to argue about any of this.

Let's face it, you don't seem to be a genius, but a sad liar who thinks lying about this will make you cool. If about 15 to 20% get 5's on given exams, and you think you can get those and 4's, you're going to get a lot of threes.

I wanted to take AP Art History in my school but since not enough people sign up for the class at my school you have to go to another school in our district. Also it seemed very intimidating, the book was at least a thousand pages & appently their was a lot of reading everyday. Not Ap US history enduring vision reading. But real reading of a textbook on average of 30 to 40 something pages per night. Yikes, it would be so hard to have a life. It like that because of my school's semester system of classes, that class needs to be a full year. I'm the type of person who is cocky enough to think I can conquer any academic challenge but that, my procrastination tendancies, and the other Ap classes I plan on taking sounds daunting to me. I probably would have taken to fulfill my schools art requirement but I can't drive to another school everyday.

I'll ignore foilphob's last statement

Thanks student 1011111, Calculus was way harder than expected today but I think I did alright. I had just cruised through both governments and stats but I had to exert myself on calculus.

Uhh, I actually took Comparative Gov. and I found it difficult, so someone like you who read a cliffs book on it for 2 hours shouldn't have found it so easy. Oh, and for everyone to know, I am in 15 AP classes.
