17 year old Junior from Kansas- Chance me please!

<p>Can I get into University of Virginia/UPENN/Georgetown Extra Advice from current students appreciated!?
While UPENN and Georgetown are my "well its worth a shot" schools, I am curious as to whether I have a chance. The University of Virginia is my first practical choice, as I want to participate in their Political and Social Thought major. By the way, I am a current junior in a highly ranked Kansas Public School (top 100 in the nation)</p>

<p>Here are my credentials... thanks so much for any advice. </p>

<p>GPA
UW: 3.93 (hopefully at least 3.95 by senior year)
W: 4.4 </p>

<p>AP's:
Euro 4
US TBD
ENG TBD
(I will be taking AP ENG LIT, AP US GOVT, and MAYBE AP Biology as a senior)</p>

<p>Was first in my class my Sophomore year, now I am probably 10th </p>

<p>EC's
-Piano four 8 years
-Varsity Debater- High winning record, attended national tournaments, will have a rec from my coach
-Choir
-DECA(International Competitive Business Club)- As a freshman I was third in state, sending me to nationals. As a sophomore I was second in state sending me to nationals where I placed 4th out of 16,000 international high school students. I hope to take it all this year :)
-National Honors Society
-Started Kansas' first Patriots club with Hundreds of members and we do lots of community service and fundraisers
-Started Kansas City's Kick for Kids, donating shoes to the poor and less fortunate of Kansas City
-Hope to be at least a national merit semi finalist
-Unpaid Internship at the Fox News Station of Kansas City
- 100 hrs of Community Service
-Mentor to underclassman at my school
-Volunteered as a TA at a daycare for homless children</p>

<p>Extras:
-I am 25% Native American and 25% Mexican
-My legal gaurdian, my father, is a Senior, probably age 70. (I have heard this earns scholarships)
-My God Mother's family has a wing named after them at every ivy league... so I am not sure if this will affect me or not, but it is the closest connection I have to Ivy
-My strong suite is my writing, so hopefully I can demonstrate that in my essays. </p>

<p>THANKS SO MUCH! My father did not graduate from highschool, and really does not know how the system works nowadays, so I really appreciate any guidance I can get!

<p>I think your minority status gives you a big boost, and if you are first generation that would help as well. What do you realistically anticipate to get on your PSAT and SAT/ACT? I think you have strong ECs and I’m sure being from Kansas helps at least a little (compared to Northeast). If you get around a 2100 I think UVA is pretty on target. I think Georgetown is a low reach and UPENN is a reach but I really can’t say, especially without test scores and you are only a Junior. Hopefully you do well this year and can re-ask this question next year. Good luck, and if you can, please chance me: [Chances</a> for Stanford / Wharton / few others - College Confidential](<a href=“http://■■■■■■/6OHy9]Chances”>http://■■■■■■/6OHy9)</p>
