Basically I just added Psych 112 onto my schedule, which I hear is an easy class. Nonetheless, would this schedule be too much to handle with multiple (3-5) extracurriculars?

on a side note: i’m involved in a club that helps students pursue dual degrees with ross. if you’re serious about the dual degree, send me a PM and I can probably help you.

What year are you going to be?
I’m not sure if it’s this specific accounting (271) class, but my bschool friends have told me they’ve been destroyed by accounting and how hard it’s been. I personally wouldn’t recommend taking 5 classes…maybe switch one of your bschool classes to next semester?

those are the core classes for sophomores. ross is very unlikely to let students move around the core classes.

if you actually want to do the dual degree, it’s most likely that you have no choice but to do 18 credits nearly every semester. the question comes down to whether or not you want to do the dual degree. if you can’t handle the schedule your fall semester of sophomore year, you’re not going to be able to handle the remaining semesters.

This is assuming that I do no spring or summer semesters and want to graduate in 4 years exactly, correct? (I calculated it out and it’s around 17.5 credits per semester if I take 18 credits this semester.)

our club focuses more on engr/bba dual degrees, so i’m not entirely sure about the si/bba.

what you actually have to do, though, is plan out the specific classes you’re going to be taking every semester. don’t just take the number of credits you need and divide them evenly between semesters – this is prone to errors. i highly recommend you do this as soon as possible and consult an adviser – there are a TON of technicalities about getting the dual degree that can really screw you over. do not wait until the school year to do this.

keep in mind there is a minimum amount of credits you must accumulate for a dual degree, regardless of whether you complete all the specific degree requirements.

Did you get my PM Nubs? Also, is the minimum number of credits ~150? I remember an LSA advisor telling me it was that amount for LSA/BBA because you need at least 100 LSA credits to graduate with an LSA degree, and for the business school you need 45 business credits to graduate.
