1800 sat 1 ?

I got my June score :

550 Reading

690 Math

560 Writing

and I want to know is it a good score and which college would likely to accept me with this score ? Thank you

It’s not really a great score, but you could probably get into some in-state colleges with those scores. You should probably retake if you want to get into better schools.

I got 1770 and may retake depending on my ACT score from June which I haven’t received yet.

That’s another option to try the ACT. If I don’t do good on the ACT I will take on of the tests again.

I don’t know what colleges would accept you, but its not bad. The mean score is supposedly around 1540.

Good luck!

There are plenty of schools that will accept you, of course. Ivy leagues? Probably not. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t get into some decently competitive schools with those scores. There are so many schools though, it’s hard to make recommendations without knowing what you’re looking for at all. Give some more insight, such as your GPA, where you want to go location wise, what you may want to major in, etc.

I know someone that got into Duke with a 1770. So I say shoot for the stars!

An internationl studies / Political Sc maybe communication major , I am still undecided !
East coast for sure
and my GPA is pretty good
I felt in love with UPenn but I guess it’s out of reach , but Im gonna retake the SAT this october hopefuly with a 2000 It will be easier to think about Ivy league right ?

You will want to aim for a 2100ish for an ivy I would imagine. Don’t fret though, there will be a few more times to take the SAT and the ACT as well.

I got a similar 1840 the first time I took the SAT. Just study and practice, then retake it. I got a 1990, then 2100.
